Yuanwei Zhang received both his BS and MS degrees in Chemistry from Nankai University, China. In 2013, he obtained his PhD from University of Central Florida under the supervision of Professor Kevin D. Belfield. He is currently a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, University of Massachusetts Medical School. His research interests lie in the synthesis chemistry and study of bio-related materials.

Zhanjun Li was born in China. He received his BE (2004) from Wuhan University of Science and Technology (China). Then he conducted his doctoral research at the Institute of Urban Environment, CAS, and received his PhD (2013) from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (China). From 2013 to 2014, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST, Republic of Korea). He is currently a postdoctoral research associate at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, University of Massachusetts Medical School (USA). His research interests include: persistent luminescence, luminescence imaging, and nanomaterials.
